Being Cuban I can honestly say this is as Latin as it is going to get in Gainesville. I really enjoyed the brunch here! I got the guava crepe, if you have a sweet tooth this is your item! The best part about this brunch is the different mimosas they offer. They have a variety of tropical juices: mango, guava, passion fruit. It is a nice change from you typical mimosa. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a great brunch or your missing you Latin home cooking!

Our favorite spot in G'ville! Great service. Food always good with seasonal specials. Big wine list. Love their hot sauces - we buy a couple to keep us covered til our next visit!

Number one reason is Marcos. He really goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and happy. He has a very thoughtful vibe, and even suggested a major change to a mofongo dish to meet a dietary requirement! Also the drinks here are strong, and the portion sizes are just right

The food was fantastic; the service was excellent. Sarah our server was pleasant, knew her stuff and was on top of everything. Was a good stop off on our way back home to Ponte Vedra.

I have been to Emiliano's on numerous occasions but once in a while when I'm gloriously alone I sit at the tiny bar and have an adult mixed drink and dinner. The bartenders are usually chatty enough, but busy. Invariably I go away happy and full. Out of town guests, usually ladies, seem to enjoy its "foreign country" atmosphere with college town hospitality. The sidewalk cafe always pleases unless A/C is wanted. When with others, I often recommend a tapas of choice each to share and one mutually agreed upon salad. It's almost always more than enough for two and when it isn't quite we order another tapas or more wine and dessert.
